AMC / Fairmont's EPLI Program
Risk Management + Insurance = Value Added
The purpose of AMC program is to provide the proper training for our insureds and their staffs to minimize exposure to employment practices lawsuits and to enable them to purchase economically priced insurance that provides defense cost against employment related allegations.
Risk Management - insureds and their staff will gain access to a web-based training program. Utilizing these services will not only provide training, but in doing so will help ensure they have proper anti-discrimination policies in place. The training also provides the basis for a strong legal defense in the event of a claim.
Risk Management:
- Comply America Training - The web-based training program consists of two courses:
- Manager's Course - For employees who hire, fire, supervise or manage people including senior management and corporate officers.
- Employee's Course - Sexual Harassment Prevention - For all employees. Concentrates specifically on training all employees regarding corporate anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.
- Legal Information Hotline - Insureds will have toll-free access to a large firm located in Chicago that specializes in employment practices liability.
Insurance:
- The second component of AMC / Fairmont's Program is an insurance policy that provides for legal defense costs in the event of an employment practices liability claim. This coverage can be attached to almost any risk AMC can write through any of our other programs or E&S markets, providing it falls within our authority.
- We would encourage all of our agents to at least offer this coverage to every insured to protect themselves from an E&O exposure.
