AMC Finds A Place For Hard-To-Place Homeowners' Risks

American Management Corporation's new high-end homeowners policy allows agents to bring home clients with hard-to-place risks. The new plan will provide coverage for homes valued at $300,000 and up.

“This product is designed for people who have had difficulty in placing their coverage due to the high value of their home, previous losses, protection class, or special needs such as a large personal articles floater and personal umbrella coverage,” said Mike Alderson, Vice President. “We also have the ability to place coverage for high-profile individuals/celebrities, vacant properties, or secondary/seasonal residences.”

AMC Heads West With New Commercial Auto Line

American Management Corporation has tapped Zurich for a new line of commercial auto insurance in five western states. AMC, a leading MGA specializing in auto-related business risks, continues to expand its lines of coverage by offering this new product to agents in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.

The plan is designed to provide coverage for risks in public auto transportation (bus, black car, social services vehicles), commercial auto related businesses (artisan contractors and delivery vehicles), and local & intermediate trucking (dump trucks, garbage haulers, common carriers). This new relationship with Zurich, an insurance-based financial services provider with over 130 years of experience, is an addition to AMC's existing commercial auto insurance plans in Arkansas and provider is an addition to AMC's existing commercial auto insurance plans in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Agents writing commercial auto are serviced by AMC's Scottsdale, AZ office, which was acquired in 2004.

“We're adding products aggressively in the West to better serve our agents in the region,” said Mike Alderson, Vice President.
